He spoke to reporters at Zagreb's airport before departing for a
three-day visit to Greece.
"We believe the visit to Greece is important because Greece, like
Croatia, is a country bordering with this crisis area that we have

and also because we are interested in the development of economic
and tourist relations," said President Tudjman.
The visit will be the first official visit on the highest level
between the two countries. Tudjman will meet Greek President
Constantinos Stephanopoulos and Premier Kostas Simitis.
Two inter-state agreements will be signed, one on cooperation
between interior ministries in fighting illegal drug traffic,
terrorism, and organised crime, and an agreement on tourist
cooperation.
The agreements will be signed by the Foreign Ministers, Croatia's
Mate Granic, and Greece's Teodoros Pangalos.
The Croatian delegation will also include Economy Minister Nenad
Porges, Transport Minister Zeljko Luzavec, President Tudjman's
