EBRD GRANTS LOAN FOR SANITARY IMPROVEMENT OF JAKUSEVAC WASTE DISPOSAL SITE

ZAGREB, Nov 18 (Hina) - Zagreb city authorities and representatives +of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on +Wednesday signed a contract on a DM168-million loan for the +sanitary improvement of the city's largest waste disposal site, +Jakusevac.+ Improvement works will be carried out by the newly-founded Zagreb +company ZGOS Ltd. The loan will be paid back over a period of 12 +years, with a four-year grace period and loan costs - the LIBOR and +an interest rate of 2.05 per cent. + Zagreb Mayor Marina Matulovic-Dropulic described the loan +conditions as very favourable.+ The project is co-financed by the French-Belgian bank Dexia, which +has the same loaning conditions as the EBRD.
