ZAGREB, Nov 2 (Hina) - Croatian oil company will save US$15 million
each year, by using its own new technology.
New processing unit Croco, an invention of INA's experts, has been
tested during the six months experimental use on oil fields in
Croatia. The invention prevents the oil waste, and increases the
percentage of separating water from oil sediment.
The costs of servicing care, boiler room, and cleaning the anti-
corrosive protection of processing units and reservoirs, have also
been reduced.
INA's experts estimated that the invention would contribute their
annual net income with US$15 million.
All supporting equipment which have been disconnected from the
processing Croco units, could be used on other objects, and the
unnecessary parts could be sold as waste.
During the experimental use of Croco, sample analysis showed that
the oil remains only 0,987 percent of water, and 0,950 percent of
sediment.
Total cost of building 17 new processing units would approximately
come to $US3,7 million.
