organised its consular days for the first time at the Bishop's
Ordinariate in Kotor, Montenegro.
Several dozen citizens waited in a line in front of the embassy
building in order to meet Croatian diplomatic representatives,
headed by the first secretary Goran Bakota.
Most of them were interested in obtaining Croatian documents or
regulating personal and family rights in Croatia. Along with people
of Croat nationality, members of other nationalities also came to
the consular days.
Secretary Bakota was today received by Kotor deputy mayor Nikola
Bukilica.
The next consular days of the Croatian Embassy in Kotor will be held
in two weeks at the same place, between 10am and 2pm.
Croatia has been waiting for some time for the official approval of
the Yugoslav federal administration to open its consulate in
Kotor.
A month ago, it was decided that a former Dubrovnik mayor, Pero
Poljanic, would be the first consul-general to Montenegro.
