House of Representatives continued its session on Friday with
discussion on situation in judicature.
Members of Parliament of a block comprising six opposition parties,
who walked out on Thursday from a session of the house of
Representatives, were back in the Grand Hall on Friday morning.
The MP's left the session on Thursday in protest, for the live
broadcasting of a debate on their proposal was not provided.
In mid October the six opposition parties filed their motion for the
establishment of a commission for investigation of possible abuse
of authority, anti-constitutional and illegal activities of
security services (so called the SIS affair).
The MP's of Social Democratic Party, Croatian Social Liberal Party,
Croatian Peasants' Party, Liberal Party, Istrian Democratic
Assembly and Croatian Peoples Party met on Friday morning before
entering the Grand Hall and announced a press conference for later
in the day.
Zarko Domjan, the chairperson of the House of Representatives'
session, reminded the present that on Friday was second anniversary
of Croatia's entry to the Council of Europe.
