COMMITTEE

ZAGREB, Oct 12 (Hina) - "It was all fair, Committee President Ivan
Milas presided in the most professional and high quality way, but
please don't ask me about the actual content, there will be time for
that", the recently resigned Presidential Chief-of-staff Hrvoje
Sarinic said on Monday.
Sarinic was summoned to give evidence to the Croatian Sabor's
(Parliament) Lower House Committee for Internal Affairs and
National Security regarding recent allegations about intelligence
services.
The committee continued its session behind doors to consider
evidence presented by Sarinic and presidential advisor Franjo
Greguric about the alleged political misuse of intelligence-
security services.
"I told them everything I knew and there is nothing left 'in this big
bag'", said Sarinic responding to a question whether he presented
the Committee with evidence to support his claims.
Asked to comment Defence Minister Andrija Hebrang's resignation,
Sarinic stated that "this was a moral act by a moral man".
"I have said that he (Hebrang) is a great friend of mine, and I have
always valued him. I believe that the reasons why he submitted (the
resignation) and made this move are highly moral, as he is himself"
Sarinic told journalists who were waiting outside the Croatian
Sabor building.
