NEW YORK, Sept 21 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister, Mate Granic
arrived in New York on Sunday to attend the annual session of the
United Nations General Assembly.
Granic will address representatives of UN member-countries on
Monday, September 28.
During his nine-day visit to the United States, Granic will have a
series of bilateral meetings.
The global economic crisis, the spread of terrorism around the
world, and the 50th anniversary of the General Declaration of Human
Rights are expected to be the main topics of this year's Assembly
session.
The presidents and the foreign affair ministers of almost all of the
member countries will take part in a general discussion which
starts on Monday.
American President Bill Clinton will talk first at the Assembly.
