ZAGREB, Oct 11 (Hina) - A mass was celebrated in the Zagreb
Cathedral on Sunday in sign of gratitude to Pope John Paul II's
visit to Croatia last weekend and his beatification of late
Croatian Cardinal Alojzije Stepinac.
The service was headed by former Archbishop of Zagreb, Cardinal
Franjo Kuharic, current Zagreb Archbishop Josip Bozanic and
apostolic nuncio Archbishop Giulio Einaudi.
The mass was attended, among others, by military ordinary Juraj
Jezerinac, Stjepan Lackovic, former secretary to the late Stepinac
during four years of World War Two, and members of the State
Committee in charge of the Pope's visit headed by chairman Jure
Radic.
