JOSIPOVAC PUNITOVACKI, Oct 9 (Hina) - Culture Ministers of Croatia
and Slovakia, Ivan Hudec and Bozidar Pugelnik, on Friday opened a
newly-built elementary school in Josipovac Punitovacki, a village
near Djakovo in eastern Croatia whose population is 95 per cent
Slovakian.
The Croatian and Slovakian governments invested US$1.7 million in
the building of the Josip Kozarac Elementary School.
According to Croatia's Pugelnik, the building of the school is a
good example of Croatian-Slovakian cooperation.
The initiators of the project were Major General Branimir Glavas
and former Slovakian Ambassador to Croatia Matus Kucera.
Also in attendance was current Slovakian Ambassador Ivan
Stanislav.
