ZAGREB, Sept 28 (Hina) - The completed edition of the book "Popes
and Croatian People" by Juraj Kocijanic was presented in Zagreb on
Monday.
The book was first presented in 1927.
The six hundred-page book contains about a hundred photographs and
described all religious, cultural and political connections
between Roman popes and the Croatian people through the past 14
centuries.
Juraj Kolaric continued his review of historic ties with Roman
popes since 1927 until today.
The book is divided in four sections: Popes and the Religious Life
of Croatians, Influence of Popes on the Moral, Legal and Social Life
of Croatians, Popes and the Education of the Croatian People, and
The Influence of Popes on the Croatian's Traditional Life.
The book was presented ahead of the second visit of Pope John Paul
II's visit to Croatia.
