ZAGREB, Sept 25 (Hina) - The Croatian Bishops' Conference (HBK) on
Friday accepted a draft agreement between the Vatican and the
Republic of Croatia regarding economic issues which were agreed to
by the Church and government committees, the Catholic News Agency
(IKA) reported today.
The bishops submitted the draft to the Holy See for further
procedure said IKA referring to a press release from the
Conference.
The report was released following a joint meeting of the Bishops'
Conference and representatives of the Croatian Conference of Major
Superiors of Men and the Croatian Union of Major Superiors of
Women.
The meeting which was chaired by the Conference's president,
Zagreb's Archbishop Josip Bozanic was attended by the Apostolic
Nuntio to Croatia, Archbishop Guilio Einaudi.
