SARAJEVO, Sept 24 (Hina) - The results of the general elections in
Bosnia-Herzegovina (BH) will probably be made known on Friday and
not on Thursday as announced, the Organisation for Security and
Cooperation in Europe mission to BH said on Thursday.
The OSCE mission spokeswoman Nicole Szulc told reporters in
Sarajevo the latest delay in issuing the results of the elections
held on September 12 and 13 was due to technical difficulties.
The checking of uncertified ballots took longer than expected,
Szulc explained.
Uncertified ballots were used by voters whose names had not been on
voters' list delivered to polling stations.
The checking procedure took longer than expected on account of a
technical error in the computers caused by a power blackout.
