ZAGREB, Sept 22 (Hina) - The Croatian National Parliament House of
Counties will gather for its 19th session on Tuesday.
Today's session, which has a 30-item agenda, is the first session
after the summer pause.
The upper house will be in session on September 22 and 23.
Among other topics, the MPs will discuss the final bill on public
assembly, which is in the second reading.
Also discussed will be ten legal texts, including a bill on banks
and a bill on compulsory and voluntary retirement funds.
On the agenda are also three reports, including a report on the
implementation of the Law on the Rights of Croatian Defenders and
Their Families between July of 1997 and June this year and a report
on the execution of the state budget in the first six months of this
year.
