ZAGREB, Sept 18 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on
Friday received the incoming Ghanaian Ambassador to Croatia, Aanaa
Naamu Enin, who presented her credentials.
Enin said she hoped that after having successfully completed the
peaceful reintegration of the Croatian Danubian region, Croatia
would now start the next logical phase, a forceful and expeditious
economic development.
My task would be not only to consolidate the existing ties, but
attempt to establish a larger economic interaction between our two
countries, and search for new, unexplored areas of cooperation,
Enin said.
Croatia aspires to the establishment of good relations with all
countries, Ghana included. There are many possibilities in
strengthening economic, cultural and other relations between the
two countries, Tudjman said.
After the talks, the Ghanaian Ambassador laid a wreath at the
Homeland Altar, on Mount Medvednica, overlooking Zagreb.
