BAJAKOVO, Sept 10 (Hina) - A group of 174 Serbs, who left Croatia
following the military and police operations "Flash" and "Storm",
returned to Croatia on Thursday.
The returnees entered Croatia via the border crossing of Bajakovo.
Ante Drmic, head of the Vinkovci office for displaced people and
refugees, said that 31 returnees, who previously registered for
return, failed to show up at the border crossing.
After the completion of the border procedure, the returnees will
travel further to the areas of Vojnic, Karlovac and Ogulin.
Since the beginning of implementation of the Government programme
for the return of displaced people and refugees at the end of July,
1,960 persons have returned to Croatia.
Out of that number, 13 organised convoys with 768 Serb returnees
entered Croatia from Yugoslavia via Bajakovo.
New arrivals of Serb returnees have been announced.
