ZAGREB, Sept 7 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on Monday
received Ambassador Boris Majerski, Russia's special envoy for
Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The President's Office issued a statement which said that during
the talks about the recent developments ahead of the elections in
Bosnia-Herzegovina, it was emphasised how mutual efforts should
create conditions for stabilising the situation and also prevent
the reaching of hasty decisions, all in order to ensure regular
elections in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The Republic of Croatia and the Russian Federation were fully
unanimous in the view that the opposite could seriously endanger
the peace process, which rested upon a consistent enforcement of
the Washington and Dayton peace accords, the statement said.
