ZAGREB, Sept 3 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on
Thursday received the incoming Ambassador of Jordan, Mazen
Armouti.
Armouti, whose embassy is based in Vienna, presented his
credentials and said Jordan would continue to transcend the
friendly relations with Croatia into concrete measures which would
promote the political, economic and cultural cooperation between
the two countries.
Jordanian troops participated in UN peace operations in Croatia.
Armouti said the soldiers and officers had find memories of Croatia
and its people.
All preconditions for the development of good overall relations
between Jordan and Croatia existed, Tudjman said.
He added that Jordanian troops had played a very positive role as
members of the peace forces in Croatia and remained in good memories
for their objective and well intentional approach to their
mission.
Croatian Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa also received Armouti on
