BRIJUNI, Aug 16 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman on
Sunday sent a letter of condolence to the British Queen Elizabeth
II.
Tudjman expressed condolences for the death of 28 people after a
bomb exploded in Omagh, Northern Ireland.
"On occasion of the mindless terrorist attack in Northern Ireland,
aimed at jeopardising an important peace process, in which several
dozens of innocent civilians were killed, I send you my sincerest
condolences as well as those of the Croatian government and
people," Tudjman said in the letter.
Condemning this attack and all other acts of international
terrorism, Tudjman expressed conviction that their organisers and
perpetrators would be found and harshly punished.
