ZAGREB, Sept 1 (Hina) - A Croatian local television station, TV
Moslavina (TVM), has been given approval to broadcast again from
Wednesday, September 2 following a four-month ban.
On Tuesday the Croatian Transport and Communications Ministry
approved TVM broadcasting programmes again after an inspection
last week which checked out the transmitter-antenna system and the
building in which it was located.
On May 11 the state inspector for telecommunications banned TVM
from broadcasting because the station's licenses for
telecommunications equipment had expired and its transmitter had
been relocated without approval.
The TVM management had on several occasions claimed its broadcasts
had been banned for political reasons, but it was unable to prove
this.
