LJUBLJANA, Aug 28 (Hina) - Slovenia has received Croatia's written
criticism on the text of a decree the Slovene government reached
that the Krsko nuclear power plant be turned into a Slovene public
company.
The agreement that Croatia should send written comments to Slovenia
was reached at a recent meeting between the Slovene and Croatian
foreign and economy ministers.
According to the Slovene radio, Croatia expressed negative views on
15 articles of the total of 36 articles contained in the decree.
Most important criticism pertains to the ownership structure.
Croatia has requested that the ownership of the power plant remain
at the 50:50 relation (50 per cent owned by Slovenia, 50 per cent by
Croatia), and that Croatia's status as cofounder of the power plant
be maintained.
