Minister Bajs said on Friday that the figures which the Central Bureau of Statistics would compile for the third quarter of 2011 would show the impact of the higher number of tourists on GDP.
During his visit to an agricultural show in Gudovac near Bjelovar, the minister said that it was important to have an increasing number of tourists and he pointed out that the number of employees in the Croatian tourist trade increased 14% this year as against last year.
