ZAGREB, July 29 (Hina) - Croatian Finance Minister Borislav Skegro
on Wednesday received Austrian Agriculture, Forestry and Food
Minister Wilhelm Molterer.
Molterer expressed his government's support to Croatian endeavours
to access European integration, and the willingness of his country,
which currently presides over the European Union, to help Croatia
in this respect.
Even though Austrian companies and Austrian capital are among the
most frequent foreign investors in Croatia, especially in industry
and banking, it was jointly assessed today there existed mutual
interest and many possibilities to further develop cooperation,
especially in agriculture and tourism.
A protocol on cooperation between the Agriculture Ministries of
Croatia and Austria which is to be signed in Zagreb today is an
important step in that respect, said the two ministers.
