MOSTAR, July 6 (Hina) - The Presidency of the Croatian Democratic
Union (HDZ) of Bosnia-Herzegovina on Monday held a session in
Mostar at which it established a sub-committee for the
implementation of Annex 7 of the Dayton peace agreement.
Annex 7 refers to the return of refugees and displaced people.
Stjepan Mikic (from Bosnia's Sava River valley region) was elected
president of the sub-committee, HDZ secretary's office said in a
statement Monday.
The sub-committee was established within the party's committee for
implementation of the Dayton agreement.
The party presidency also appointed a sub-committee for relations
with the Hague Tribunal.
Pero Skopljak was elected vice president of this body.
At one time, Skopljak and a group of Croats from central Bosnia,
suspected of war crimes, surrendered voluntarily to the Hague
Tribunal.
Skopljak spent three months in pre-trial detention and was released
after it was established that charges against him were not
founded.
