ZAGREB, June 29 (Hina) - The Homeland War and victims of the
aggression must not be forgotten, seven veterans' and victims'
associations gathered as the Homeland War Associations' Union said
in Zagreb on Monday.
We are protesting about the public ignoring of the Homeland War and
the most valuable parts of it, Croatian soldiers, they said at the
second public conference on the exhumation, identification and
burials of Croatian soldiers and civilians at Vukovar's New
cemetery.
The conferences began in Vukovar and will be continued in Pula
(northern Adriatic).
The Homeland War Associations' Union initiated the conferences as
they were dissatisfied about the way Croatian media, especially the
Croatian Television (HTV), covered the burials at the New
Cemetery.
Deputy president of the Croatian National Parliament, Jadranka
Kosor, expressed support for the Homeland War victims.
