BURIAL CEREMONY FOR 72 VICTIMS OF SERB AGGRESSION HELD IN VUKOVAR

( Editorial: --> 2637 ) VUKOVAR, June 20 (Hina) - Vukovar on Saturday saw a ceremony for 72 victims exhumed from the mass grave at the town's New Cemetery and individual graves in Vukovar. The oldest victim was 104 years old and the youngest only four. The remains of 21 Croatian soldiers, one military police member, eight civil defence members and 38 civilians were buried today at the New Cemetery. The remains of two soldiers and two police officers will be buried in other Croatian counties. Since April 28, 851 victims have been exhumed from the New Cemetery and 520 of them have been identified. (hina) rml 201653 MET jun 98
