Paul II to Croatia was presented at Tuesday's session of the papal

The Pope will visit Croatia from 2-4 October this year.
The main points of the final plan include a meeting with youth in
Zagreb on Friday, 2 October.
On Saturday, 3 October a mass will be held at the Marija Bistrica
shrine, northern Croatia, at which the Pope will beatify Cardinal
Alojzija Stepinac. On that same day, in the afternoon, the Pope will
be received on a state visit by President Franjo Tudjman.
On Sunday, 4 October the Pope will visit Split, which is celebrating
its 1700th anniversary. He will hold mass at Znjana and in the
afternoon, before returning to the Vatican, will have a prayer
