SPLIT, June 4 (Hina) - A Vatican delegation, led by Msgr Roberto
Tucci, who is in charge of organising the Pope's visit to Croatia in
October 1998, met with representatives of the Church and State
Welcoming Committee in Split on Thursday.
After the meeting, president of the State Commission for Relations
with Religious Communities, Jure Radic, said the location of the
Pope's meeting with the faithful would be determined in about 10
days.
The Croatian side received a plan of the visit from the Vatican
representatives, which was considered and adopted. Its details
will be known after it has been approved by the Pope.
The meeting with the Vatican delegation was also attended by
Interior Minister Ivan Penic, Split Archbishop Msgr Ante Juric and
Split County Prefect Branimir Luksic.
