ZAGREB, May 27 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman Wednesday
decided to establish a state committee in charge of preparing the
Pope's visit to Croatia.
The Pope will visit the country from October 2 to 4 this year.
Tudjman appointed 17 members to the committee.
Reconstruction and Development Minister Jure Radic, who also
presides a commission for relations with religious communities,
will be the chairman.
The said visit will be the Pope's second to Croatia. The first took
place in September 1994.
