VUKOVAR, May 28 (Hina) - The remains of about 20 bodies have been
exhumed at the New Cemetery in Vukovar, eastern Croatia, Thursday.
According to data of the Croatian government's commission for
detained and missing persons, 16 out of 17 persons exhumed were men,
while one was a woman. They were all aged between 26 and 57.
As in earlier exhumations, bags containing amputated body parts
were found near some bodies. One bag contained an inactivated
bomb.
Some of the bodies were dressed in medical attire or were wrapped in
hospital blankets.
The burial will take place tomorrow at 10am and not as usual on
Saturday, due to Croatia's Statehood Day, May 30.
So far, the remains of 535 victims of Serbian aggression on Croatia
have been exhumed at Vukovar's New Cemetery.
