PRISTINA, June 1 (Hina) - Six Kosovo Albanians have been killed in
the attack by Serb forces on the village of Novi Poklek in the
municipality of Glogovac, reported the Kosovo Information Centre
on Monday.
On Sunday evening Serb police reported that a Serb police officer
was killed in an ambush around 3pm in Novi Poklek but Albanian
sources say that the attack on the village started two hours before
that. Kosovo Albanians allege that the village was looted and then
more than 20 houses were set on fire.
Telephone communications are still not functioning with Djakovica,
Decane, Peca and Klina, places which have been under attack for some
days. Traffic towards these towns has also been ceased for almost a
month.
Domestic and foreign journalists as well as humanitarian teams are
still not allowed to go to the attacked territories where violent
battles are in progress, said Albanian sources.
