LJUBLJANA, May 26 (Hina) - The Slovene Parliament on Tuesday
postponed the debate on the ratification of an agreement of local
border traffic and cooperation with Croatia because some parties
expressed concern that the agreement prejudged the issue of the
state border which, according to them, is not defined well enough.
The Croatian parliament has already ratified that agreement.
The Slovene Foreign Minister, Boris Frlec, told Slovene television
he expected the agreement would nevertheless soon be ratified.
He said that according to agreement on local border traffic, the
matter of determining the state border would be solved with another
agreement.
Frlec said it was expected that some other unsolved issues between
Slovenia and Croatia would be solved by autumn.
