DRVAR, May 25 (Hina) - Representatives of the international
community Sunday visited the western Bosnian town of Drvar, where
they held talks with the federal envoy for cooperation between
municipal authorities and the international community, local and
UNHCR officials.
The international representatives were interested in the security
situation in the Drvar Municipality, the return process, and
problems stalling the implementation of peace agreements.
At a press conference following the talks the mediator for the
Croat-Muslim Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina Christian
Schwartz-Schilling condemned last month's events in Drvar and "the
violence against Serbian returnees" .
According to Andy Bearpack, the High Representative's special
envoy for reconstruction and refugee return issues, three-way
returns were taking place in Bosnia.
He could not specify how many Croats and Muslims had returned to
Bosnian Serb entity territory.
The international community has funds necessary to finance the
Serbs' return to Drvar and return of Croats, currently accommodated
in the town, to their pre-war homes, Bearpack told reporters.
