TRAVNIK, May 11 (Hina) - The Premier of the Croat-Muslim Federation
Edhem Bicakcic, his deputy Drago Bilandzija and Republika Srpska
Premier Milorad Dodik met in Travnik, central Bosnia, on Monday.
The three officials discussed inter-entity trade, harmonising of
entity customs and trade regulations with those of Bosnia-
Herzegovina and further development of the power industry,
especially the oil and electric power industries.
After the meeting, Dodik expressed satisfaction with the
atmosphere of the talks.
The two delegations expressed interest in establishing control
over trade and services turnover.
It was agreed that special protection measures should be introduced
in the agricultural production and food industries.
Republika Srpska is especially interested in supplying oil
products to the whole of Bosnia-Herzegovina from its refineries in
Bosanski Brod and Modrica.
In order to reach the pre-war level of production, the two
refineries need about US$15 million, Dodik said.
He described as premature Bicakcic's initiative for returning
experts from the Federation, who once used to work in the two
refineries, to Bosanski Brod and Modrica.
The Bosnian Serb delegation was also not ready for speedy
establishment of a joint power industry corporation because of
economic and political reasons.
