RIJEKA, May 11 (Hina) - Primorsko-Goranska County Prefect Milivoj
Brozina on Monday received the Albanian Ambassador Mirjam Bisha,
who was accompanied by Durres Mayor Arquile Gore and other city
leaders.
Prefect Brozina stressed the extensive cooperation potential,
while his deputy Luka Denona supported direct linking of regions
and cities of the two states.
President of the County Assembly Miljenko Doric said that the
Assembly would soon form a commission for national minorities,
which would include members of the Albanian ethnic community living
in the county.
Ambassador Bisha supported the strengthening of economic and other
forms of cooperation between Croatia and Albania.
The Albanian delegation also met leaders of the Rijeka County
Chamber of Commerce.
