ANKARA, May 3 (Hina) - A delegation of the Croatian Interior
Ministry held talks with Turkish Interior Ministry senior
officials in Ankara on Friday and Saturday.
The two sides agreed about the necessity of a joint fight against
drug trafficking, organised crime and terrorism.
The Croatian delegation consisting seven Interior Ministry
commissioners and head of the Criminal Police sector Ivan Nadjo,
held a series of talks with Turkish colleagues, and the talks are to
continue on Sunday in Ankara.
This was an opportunity for both sides to become familiar with the
two countries' police.
The talks are also a preparation for the visit of Croatian Interior
Ministry to Turkey in mid-June.
The two sides agreed that the cooperation between the two
ministries, established in 1995, had contributed to the
development of very good political and other relations between
Croatia and Turkey.
