CROATIAN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY MINISTER VISITS IZMIR

( Editorial: --> 7700 ) ANKARA, Apr 18 (Hina) - Croatian Science and Technology Minister Ivica Kostovic Saturday visited Izmir, the second largest port and industrial and trade centre in Turkey. Kostovic is on a several-day visit to Turkey. Earlier today, the minister and the mayor of Izmir held talks on possible cooperation with Croatian ports and ferry lines. Both parties agreed all conditions exist for establishing and strengthening maritime and other cooperation between Croatia and Turkey. Present at the talks were Kostovic's assistant for international scientific cooperation Radovan Fuchs, the head of the Science and Technology Ministry's department for bilateral cooperation, Vinko Purgar, and Croatia's Ambassador in Ankara Ivica Tomic.
