ZAGREB, April 29 (Hina) - Croatian Interior Minister Ivan Penic
says the Croatian delegation had several very useful and fruitful
talks following a two-day visit to Poland.
"With the Polish Minister of the Interior and Administration Janusz
Tomaszewski we analysed our cooperation, which is based on a string
of signed inter-state agreements", Penic said on Tuesday night
after returning from Poland.
He assessed the cooperation the two Interior Ministries achieved
within the scope of the Interpol as outstanding.
A well-known drug smuggler, currently imprisoned in Poland, was
arrested two months ago as a result of that cooperation, Penic
said.
He also mentioned the arrest of Croatian citizens resident in
Bosnia-Herzegovina who had engaged in smuggling cars from Poland
via Croatia to Bosnia.
