CROATIAN FORUM REJECTS ACCUSATIONS BY ZAGREB JEWISH MUNICIPALITY

( Editorial: --> 5049 ) ZAGREB, Apr 6 (Hina) - Croatian Forum Monday issued a statement vehemently protesting against "non-principled reactions" the Department of History of the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb, the Zagreb Jewish Municipality Council and the Coordination of Jewish Municipalities made to a statement given by Forum member Mladen Ivezic. In the statement, the Forum sided by Ivezic. Established in 1994, the Forum is a charity association of citizens, public workers, scientists and artists who wish to work towards the overall welfare of their people and homeland. The Zagreb Jewish Municipality Council and the Coordination of Jewish Municipalities assessed a statement Ivezic made last week in Vjesnik daily paper's Readers Letters as an "incendiary anti- Semitic pamphlet".
