GUNJA/BRCKO, Apr 20 (Hina) - The first post-war international cargo
train Monday passed through Brcko, a disputed town in north-eastern
Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The train left Vinkovci, eastern Croatia, early this morning,
arrived in Brcko at 11am, and continued to Lukavac, near Tuzla,
south of Brcko.
The empty 11-car train was directed to Lukavac for the necessities
of the NATO-led Stabilisation Force.
The train should return back to Vinkovci on the same route on April
22, and continue to Budapest and SFOR's base in Hungary.
The SFOR announced the passage of about 120 trains on the route
Ploce (southern Croatia), via Brcko and Vinkovci to Budapest by
year's end.
