ZAGREB, April 2 (Hina) - An outline of Croatian grammar in the
Italian language, written by Marine Lipovac Gatti, was launched at
the National and University Library in Zagreb on Thursday night.
"Grammatica della lingua croata", released by Milan publishing
house Hefti Edizioni, is one of few Croatian grammar books
published outside Croatia, said Josip Silic, who wrote the
introduction. (Croatian grammar books also have foreign editions
in English and German.)
Silic added that this was the first Croatian grammar by a foreign
scholar that fully respects the Croatian language standards.
Hefti Edizioni has released more than 50 titles by Croatian
classical and contemporary authors. These editions are now
displayed in the National and University Library foyer.
