CROATIAN DEPUTY FOREIGN MINISTER RECEIVES CHINESE DIPLOMAT

ZAGREB, April 1 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Foreign Minister Ivo Sanader on Wednesday received the president of the Chinese People's Institute for Foreign Affairs, Mei Zhaorong. Sanader acquainted his guest with the successful completion of the UNTAES Mission in the Croatian Danube River Region (on 15 January), the Croatian Government's efforts to strengthen the Dayton peace process in Bosnia-Herzegovina and its endeavour to join European integration processes. The meeting stressed China's important contributions in resolving a number of important issues on the world scene, as well as Croatia's constructive role in the stabilisation of the political situation in this part of Europe.
