BEIJING, March 5 (Hina) - Croatian Culture Minister Bozo Biskupic
wrapped up his official visit to China on Thursday.
Speaking about the visit by the Croatian delegation to the
provinces Yunan and Zheijang, Biskupic described it as a
contribution to the strengthening of Sino-Croatian cultural
relations and proof that culture can be one of the incentives for
the establishment of comprehensive bilateral relations.
In an interview for the world service of Chinese Radio, Minister
Biskupic referred to his meeting with Chinese Vice-Premier and
Foreign Affairs Minister Qian Qichen, whom he gave a letter by
President Franjo Tudjman for Chinese President Jiang Zemin.
Biskupic also spoke about his talks with his Chinese colleague Li
Zhongde, with whom he signed an agreement on another three year
programme of cooperation in culture and education.
Other than proving good bilateral relations between Croatia and
China, those meetings also showed mutual interest for their further
multifaceted development, Biskupic said.
