BELGRADE, March 31 (Hina) - Members of the Croatian Commission for
Missing and Imprisoned Persons and the Yugoslav Commission for
Humanitarian Issues and Missing Persons started a two-day meeting
in Belgrade on Tuesday.
The meeting is aimed at solving the remaining questions concerning
the fate of missing people.
Croatia's delegation is headed by the Commission's president Ivan
Grujic, while the Yugoslav side is lead by the head of the Yugoslav
Commission, Maksim Korac.
The meeting is attended by the members of the International
Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
The Yugoslav Commission said on Monday night that it expected the
Croatian side to respect the signed Protocol of Cooperation and
hand over documents for about 700 Serbs killed in the 1995
liberation operations "Flash" and "Storm" which the Croatian side
says it possesses.
The Yugoslav side said it would at today's meeting continue to
insist that the fate of missing JNA (Yugoslav People's Army)
soldiers and Serbs who went missing in Vukovar in 1991 be uncovered,
and will also insist on the handover of remains.
