SPLIT, March 26 (Hina) - The foreign ministers of Austria, Croatia
and Slovenia met on Thursday in the central-Adriatic town of
Split.
Ministers Wolfgang Schuessel, Mate Granic and Boris Frlec are to
define projects of interest for all three countries and to
establish a task group to work on them.
"This trilateral was initiated a year ago in Vienna," Minister
Granic told Hina.
At the time, Minister Granic and Schluessel stressed the importance
of developing sub-regional links within the framework of the
central-European initiative, through the Ljubljana-Zagreb-Vienna
trilateral.
This first meeting of the trilateral was initiated by Croatia. It
should have been held in Dubrovnik but due to gale-force winds,
aircraft were diverted to the Split airport.
