VINKOVCI, Feb 4 (Hina) - The security level which the Croatian
police is providing residents of the Croatian Danubian area is high
and in line with international standards, UN Civilian Police
Support Group Commissioner, Halvor Hartz, said on Wednesday.
Hartz spoke with the Vukovar-Srijem County prefect, Rudolf Koenig,
in Vinkovci (eastern Croatia) on Wednesday.
After the brief meeting, Hartz said that the UN Civilian Police had
access to all police actions on the field, as well as in police
stations.
A total of 180 police monitors from 20 countries comprise the UN
Civilian Police support group in the Danubian area.
