CROATIAN STATE BONDS TO BE PLACED ON SPANISH MARKET

( Editorial: --> 4563 ) ZAGREB, Feb 25 (Hina) - Finance Minister Borislav Skegro will present the Croatian economy in Madrid on Thursday, on the eve of the announced placement of Croatian state bonds onto the Spanish market. One of Spain's leading banks, Santander, is organising the placement of Croatian state bonds with a value of about 15 billion pesetas, with a three-year term. The placement will make Croatia one of only two central European countries to successfully place their bonds onto the Spanish capital market. The other country is Hungary.
