ZAGREB, Feb 4 (Hina) - Croatian Economy Minister Nenad Porges
Wednesday opened two international fairs in Zagreb.
Called "Fashion Days", the two fairs include the 50th international
fair of textile and accompanying industries, "Intertextile", and
the 47th international week of leather, footwear and clothes.
According to Porges, both branches of industry account for over 23
per cent of Croatia's overall export.
The economy minister announced the Croatian Government would
continue with a systematic support of both branches through lower
tariffs for the import of raw materials and machines.
"Intertextile" hosts 210 exhibitors from 18 countries, of whom half
are foreign. Exhibitors from the Danube river region of eastern
Croatia will appear for the first time.
The leather, footwear and clothes fair hosts 184 exhibitors from 16
countries.
Both fairs close on 8 February.
