ZAGREB, Feb 24 (Hina) - On the occasion of Tuesday's protest rallies
by taxi drivers in Croatian towns, the Ministry of Justice released
a statement in which it expresses understanding for justified
requests by the taxi drivers and offers condolences to the victims'
families.
In accordance with his competencies, the Justice Minister sent a
circular to the relevant courts and state prosecutors, asking for
urgent and efficient prosecution of attackers on taxi drivers and
their rightful punishment, reads the statement.
"Thus, you will contribute to curbing of that type of crime,
especially by juvenile criminals", reads the communiqué which was
signed by Justice Minister Miroslav Separovic.
