KOVAC EXPECTS BOSNIAN CROATS WILL VOTE EN MASSE FOR HDZ

SARAJEVO, Dec 29 (Hina) - The bearer of the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) electoral list for the Diaspora, Milan Kovac, on Wednesday said he expected Bosnian Croats will vote en masse for the HDZ at impending parliamentary elections. Kovac told reporters in Sarajevo he based his opinion after attending a series of pre-electoral rallies the HDZ, Croatia's ruling party, held throughout Bosnia-Herzegovina (BH) in the last two weeks. "My impression is that Croats in BH are afraid of what will happen after the death of (Croatian) President (Franjo) Tudjman, since it is evident that all events in BH go to the detriment of the Croatian people," said Kovac. He asserted the Dayton peace agreement was quietly being revised, and singled out as examples an attempt to impose an electoral law which was unlike any other in the world, and the denial of cantons' constitution-guaranteed rights to independence in the implementa
