ZAGREB, Dec 29 (Hina) - The Humanitarian Foundation for the Children of Croatia on Wednesday received a US$10,000 cheque from Croatian emigrants in Los Angeles. The Foundation said in a statement the funds were collected at a
humanitarian dinner held at the Croatian-American House in San Pedro on December 11. The dinner was an initiative of Tony Golem, the manager of the Croatian People's Association, and Miso Munivrana, Croatia's consul general in Los Angeles. Golem today handed the cheque to Ankica Tudjman, the president of the Humanitarian Foundation for the Children of Croatia, and announced further donations through which Croatian emigrants want to continue their good cooperation with the Foundation, the statement said.(hina) ha
